Bandung – Deputy Head of the State Development Audit Agency(BPKP) for Polhukam PMK Iwan Taufiq Purwanto and State Accountant Sally Salamah and her staff visited Bio Farma in Bandung City, West Java, Tuesday (21/9). ). The presence of the two deputies was to review the availability of vaccines, storage facilities to review the distribution of vaccines.
Iwan explained, a working visit to Bio Farma to see and directly check the availability of vaccines to speed up the vaccination process. He hopes that what BPKP is doing can support the government's efforts to achieve the target of herd immunity by the end of December 2021.
"We are conducting surveillance related to distribution and supplies in accordance with the request from the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment and the Minister of Health," he said (22/9).
Meanwhile, Sally added, the Deputy at BPKP and the West Java Province BPKP Representative collaborated to supervise the procurement and distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine. "We will follow up the results together to support the government's efforts in accelerating the achievement of the vaccination target," he said.
Meanwhile, Bio Farma's Director of Operations, M. Rahman Roestan, appreciated BPKP for overseeing the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine for Indonesia.
“This pandemic must be handled quickly, starting from the supply of the vaccine,receipt bulk and production process at Bio Farma, to its distribution. We are helped by showing the signs, so we can carry out this assignment properly according to existing regulations, "said Rahman.
It is known that Bio Farma has distributed 171,364,570 doses of Covid-19 vaccine as of September 21, 2021, consisting of 33,805,658 doses of CoronaVac, 104,368,200 doses of Covid-19, Bio Farma, 20,136,284 doses of AZ (Covax, B2B, Grants). doses, Moderna 7,871,318 doses, Sinopharm (Grant) 720,766 doses, and Pfizer 4,462,344 doses.
