Bio Farma has 1 guideline #: SM-S16.3 regarding Access to Public Information and 1 standard procedure Dok.# : 216K - TKDPIP regarding Governance and Public Information Services. These KIP tools are to regulate the management and flow of public information provided by Bio Farma to Public Information Requesters. Bio Farma determines and appoints the Corporate Secretary and Head of Corporate Communications as the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).

Purpose of Public Information Disclosure
Through this Public Information service, the public's right to obtain various information about the company, business processes, governance, financial reports, corporate social responsibility, and other related information can be fulfilled.

The public can obtain all Bio Farma Public Information through the content that we present comprehensively in each content on this website. In addition, if the public needs or experiences problems in accessing it, they can also go through other mechanisms.
Procedure for Requesting Public Information
Seeing the current pandemic conditions, Bio Farma still makes it easy to provide Information Services and Company Data. The following is the Procedure for Requesting Public Information during a pandemic:
- People who want to submit an Information Request can send a letter via email: ppid@biofarma.co.id / website: www.biofarma.co.id
- The applicant completes the data on the Proof of Public Information Request form (TBPIP). Information requests are free of charge.
- PPID classifies the type of information requested.
- PPID prepares an answer, searches for the requested information and legal studies if necessary.
- Submission of answers/responses and or reasons for exceptions on the Proof of Response to Public Information.
- Submission of a postponement letter if it takes time to obtain the information.
- If the applicant for public information objects, he/she may submit an objection to the PPID.

- The superior of PPID Bio Farma is an official who is the direct superior of PPID, namely the Corporate Secretary.
- PPID Bio Farma is the official responsible for the storage, documentation, provision and/or service of Public Information at Bio Farma, namely the Head of Corporate Communication.
- PPID 1 is the official responsible for the storage, documentation, provision and/or service of Public Information at the Main Directorate.
- PPID 2 is the official responsible for the storage, documentation, provision and/or service of Public Information in the Directorate of Human Resources.
- PPID 3 is the official responsible for storing, documenting, providing and/or servicing Public Information in the Production Directorate.
- PPID 4 is the official responsible for storing, documenting, providing and/or servicing Public Information at the Directorate of R&D.
- PPID 5 is the official responsible for storing, documenting, providing and/or servicing Public Information at the Directorate of Finance.
- PPID 6 is the official responsible for storing, documenting, providing and or serving Public Information at the Marketing Directorate.
In the implementation of public information management at BIO FARMA, PPID BIO FARMA has the following duties and functions:
- Provide and secure Public Information;
- Providing fast, precise, and simple Public Information services;
- Developing standard operating procedures for the implementation of the duties and authorities of PPID BIO FARMA in the context of disseminating Public Information;
- Carry out the Classification of Public Information or its changes with the approval of the Head of PPID BIO FARMA;
- Determining Exempt Public Information as Public Information that can be accessed in the event that:
- Has been declared open to the public based on the objection mechanism;
- It has been declared open to the public based on an adjudication hearing decision, court decision, and Supreme Court decision;
- The period of exemption has expired; and/or
- Determined by laws and regulations;
- Establish written considerations for each policy taken to fulfill everyone's right to Public Information;
- Coordinating:
- Collection of all Public Information which includes; Information that must be provided and announced periodically; Information that must be announced evenly; and Information that must be available at any time.
- Collection of exempted public information;
- Announcement of Public Information through media that can effectively and efficiently reach all stakeholders;
- Submission of Public Information in good, correct and understandable Indonesian language;
- Fulfillment of requests for Public Information that can be accessed by the public;
- Classification of Public Information and / or changing the classification of Public Information;
- Objection requests are processed based on procedures; and
- The process of providing Public Information at BIO FARMA is running well;
- Conducting Consequence Testing of Public Information that cannot be accessed by the public as referred to in the laws and regulations regarding public information disclosure;
- Conduct Consequence Testing of Public Information that cannot be accessed by the public as referred to in the laws and regulations regarding public information disclosure;
- Provide written reasons for the exclusion of Public Information, in the event that the request for Public Information is rejected;
- Developing the competence of information service officers to improve the quality of Public Information services;
- Use the PPID Information System in managing information services to improve the quality of public information services;
- Provide up-to-date Public Information on the BIO FARMA portal and PPID Information System;
- Providing up-to-date Public Information on the BIO FARMA portal and PPID Information System;
- Maintaining and/or updating information on the BIO FARMA portal and PPID Information System at least 1 (one) time in 1 (one) month;
- Coordinating, harmonizing, and facilitating PPID tools;
- Provide a room and/or Public Information service desk;
- Create and publish an annual report on Public Information services and submit and publish a copy to the Central Information Commission.
In carrying out its duties, PPID is authorized to;
- Decide whether information is accessible or not accessible to the public based on public consequence testing;
- Reject a request for Public Information in writing if the Public Information requested is exempt Public Information, accompanied by reasons and notification of the rights and procedures for the Public Applicant to file an objection to the rejection;
- Coordinating with PPID officers and/or related units in resolving objections;
- Provide assistance and coordination with PPID devices, technical units, and/or units that have the duty and function of providing legal assistance, legal opinions, and legal considerations at BIO FARMA;
- Proposing to the Supervisor of PPID BIO FARMA to report and/or file a lawsuit against the Information Commission's decision to a judicial institution;
- Coordinating with PPID officials in providing up-to-date Public Information on the BIO FARMA portal and sites other than the BIO FARMA portal, and/or the PPID Information System;
- Reporting discrepancies in the process of hearing Public Information Disputes to the Secretariat of the Information Commission with the approval of the Head of PPID BIO FARMA; and
- Conduct socialization to improve Public Information at BIO FARMA.
